Scavenger Hunt - February 3, 2013

We were given a rare gift this week.  A 68 degree day in January! Coincidentally, it happened on a day where I had already scheduled off from work to take care of some business with my daughter.  So, we took care of business...and then celebrated with a jaunt to the zoo.

HIDDEN

PLAIN
I don't like snakes, and this guy made it "plain" that he didn't like me either!

FAST
Nobody can text as fast as a 20-something!

PEACE
We interrupted his peace and quiet.

LEFT
After a fun few hours, we left the zoo. What a great day!

Off to check out your photos at Ramblings & Photos with Ashley Sisk.  Have a great week!    ~Karen

  1. Wow...that shot of the snake looking right at you is quite intense...not for the snake tho :). Love your interpretation of "left".

  2. Love your take on fast, although I have a teen grand daughter that can give most twenty-somethings a run for their money, texting. Me, I just a single thumb texter. Have a blessed day.

  3. Love the second shot -- but they are all so creative for the prompts. :)

  4. Fun day! I will admit I zoomed past the first two prompts (not a fan is putting it mildly, ha!) but love the sleeping cheetah (my nephews favorite!)! Which zoo was this?

    1. Philadelphia Zoo. Personally, I usually zoom right past the entire Amphibian and Reptile House at the zoo, but my daughter insisted. They freak me out.....even with that thick glass keeping them away from me. Creepy!

  7. What a great day for the zoo!!! That day was so warm and humid. Even my 13 year old can text wayyyyy faster than me! She makes fun of my slow texting skills.

  8. Oh my, that snake looks sort of like a little bat when you see it that way. Enjoy your day.

  10. Impressive collection from one outing. I hate snakes as well, but these are great shots. I totally hear you about the speed at which today's youth can text; I remember thinking how totally rad I was with my typing speed - I pale in comparison.
