Song-ography & Scavenger Hunt ~ October 27, 2013

It's been awhile since (a) I've spent any amount of time with my camera, and (b) I've linked up to Scavenger Hunt.  I'm a little rusty...be kind :)

CHANGE

YOUR MOOD TODAY
I'm experiencing many moods...sentimental since my oldest got married last week, proud of my loving family, happy that all went well. Rod Stewart's Forever Young has always been a favorite  as it says everything I wish for my beautiful daughters.  Imagine the lump in my throat when the bride presented me with this amazing bracelet.  Thank goodness I am not a crier!

"Be courageous and be brave, and in my heart you'll always stay Forever Young"
OK....I'm crying.
Check out more Forever Young photos over at You'll Shoot Your Eye Out.  I'm discovering that my sister, whose blog it is, and I share more than genes.  Apparently we have the exact same taste in music.  Who knew?!?!

DARK
Clouds casting dark shadows over the changing leaves.  So much beauty in Pennsylvania!

WELCOME
Winery OPEN!  Yes, please :)

 DEPTH OF FIELD

Have a great week!  Off to check out your photos ~Karen

    1. That beautiful view is courtesy of Bowman's Hill Tower...a tower erected in Washington Crossing Park. It was a beautiful view...but quite windy up there!

  9. Oh, I love those bracelets! My daughter is planning her wedding. I'm going to pass along this idea. I'm already feeling emotional and sentimental about this whole engagement / wedding time. :) And the photo of the clouds on the changing leaves landscape is gorgeous!

  10. Well you KNOW how I feel about your "youngins" :). And maybe they won't understand until THEY are parents themselves that in OUR minds and hearts they will be FOREVER young :). Love that bracelet too! Thanks for joining in on Song-ography.
